Throughout the history of the church many have tried to suppress the spread of biblical Christianity. In the first century we have the Jews seeking to keep Christianity under a blanket only to have God crush their false religious system in 70 a.d. Then for multiple centuries later we see Rome and her pagan, idolatrous worship system doing everything she can to pervert and/or keep the true, life-giving gospel away from the common folk. Only for God to raise up some mighty men who would give life and limb to see the scriptures spread like wildfire and the gospel being preached to everyone! Now in our day, whether you’re here in the United States where secular humanism is trying her hand at squelching the gospel or in maybe a foreign country where Islam will put you to death for the gospels sake, God will most certainly raise up men and women to herald the gospel and see His Church cover the Earth as sand covers the sea shore. It’s our time to take up the mantle and run with it brethren! The gates of Hell will not prevail against us and the gospel’s spread can’t be stopped! Let us lay down our lives like the heroes of our faith have in times past and go forth with the best message to ever be preached, the life-giving message of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, and reign!
